Chicken fried stake was good, sevice was ok. Most likely one of the better places to eat in Abilen for Table Service meal.

This restaurant serves homestyle cooking, like my mother cooked. Pork chops, hamburger steaks, burgers, sandwiches all with a good selection of sides. If you order a dinner here it comes with 2 sides, a dinner salad and a dinner roll. You won't leave hungry. They also have daily specials like ham and beans with cornbread, 2 sides and a salad. And the prices are so reasonable. They also have a selection of salads.

Open way early and the food is always right on time marty is a awsome good down to earth man always happy to see you

The service was quick, and very very friendly without being over friendly and ruining my meal. I've had waiters in the past who wouldn't leave me alone to eat but this was perfect. I got a Patty melt and it was delicious! Will definitely go there again!

My wife and I went for the first time recently, despite living in the area for a while. Overall a good experience - Service was great and except for my hashbrowns (kinda cold and chewy) the food was also good. My wife really enjoyed the pork tenderloin sandwich and my western omelette was fresh and tasty. They were quite busy when we were there but our server was on top of it and very attentive.

Really good Americanna food! It reminds me of a hometown restaurant that does what it's supposed to do. Daily specials, meat and potatoes, and good service. Food was fairly quick and reasonably priced. Decor is a little dated and uncomfortable seats, but that was my only complaint.

Delicious local diner. I had the chicken fried chicken breakfast and it was absolutely amazing. Coffee is dark and tastes like it should. Biscuits and gravy was all homemade as well. Worth a stop if you’re hungry and in the area for breakfast or lunch.
